Professional quality printing

Primera's DP-4202 XRP disc printer offers high-quality printing for full-color discs. The printer uses thermal inkjet printing technology to ensure high-resolution printing. The high-yield three-color ink cartridge offers a low cost of ink per disc and is perfect for multi-color disc layouts. The ink cartridge implements a native resolution of 1200 dpi with HQ mode of 4800 dpi for perfect photorealistic prints.

The DP-4202 XRP uses an ink cartridge with an integrated printhead, eliminating problems with fixed heads and maintaining consistent print quality over the life of the machine. This results in minimal downtime for ink replacement: in a few seconds you are ready to resume printing after replacing the cartridge.

High-resolution printing combined with Primera's WaterShield™ and WaterSafe discs provides a professional look to the discs. These discs have an excellent fast drying speed and are resistant to stains and smudges. They offer the fastest recording speeds, the highest print quality, the lowest rejection rates, and are suitable for the high-speed duplication market, while being cheap enough for simple periodic use.

Easy integration

In some cases, integration is necessary for applications such as PACS/DICOM medical imaging systems, surveillance and law enforcement videos, backup and archiving, on-demand audio and video, and more. Primera simplifies integration with a simple but comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows. The SDK is free for qualified developers. This software development kit allows you to easily integrate Primera record printers into your application, supporting the USB 3.0 data interface and auto-switching between USB and Ethernet. In addition, Primera's PTPublisher software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X and supports the design of disc covers with the included Disc Cover Design software. Primera record printers are certified for color matching and support robotics for the production of large volumes of discs. The minimum system requirements for PCs and Macs are an Intel Pentium IV® processor and Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. Primera also offers an extended warranty program and a hot swap program for quick replacement of faulty units.
